Verticutters dig deeper into the turf canopy and penetrate the crown area of the plant, possibly below, severing stolon’s and stems. Verticutting is a deep-cleaning process for the turf canopy. Vertical blades rotate through turf, dredging up thatch and opening the canopy to allow the turf to breath. Verticutting isn't aeration, and it isn't grooming. But often, there is a mix-up between the two and vertical mowing encourages turf to take its vitamins.

A Tractor Mounted Graden A tractor mounted Graden with three individual floating heads. This machine is ideal for all areas of the golf course and is made to cope with undulations. Great for greens, tees and fairways. Available in 59″ (1.5 metre) or 79″ (2 metre) models.
A uniform and superior cut on undulating surfaces due to the floating outer wings conforming to the shape of the land. Depth of the blades and the soil type dictate the speed at which one can operate at.
Pivoted sets of blades on each side of the machine provide a floating head effect, ensuring a consistent cutting depth
Depth of the blades on each reel can be adjusted independently via handles – no special tools required and instant in the field adjustments can be made without returning to the mechanic .
